Ayilya Thampuran is a filmmaker based in Vancouver, BC, working across documentary, cinematography, and editing. With training in journalism from the University of British Columbia and film production, she builds visually driven, socially engaged narratives.

She thrives on finding and chasing stories about real people, their actions, and how those stories connect to larger issues affecting communities.

Mikel Estrada is a Producer and partner at Vancouver-based independent production company Flying Cat Productions. He studied Animation Engineering at Universidad Panamericana and Visual Effects at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.

He trained in screenwriting with acclaimed Latin American filmmakers including Carlos Cuarón, Astrid Romero, Marcelo Tobar, and Fernanda Valadez.
